Penny

Dental Hygienist

Penny, our amazing Dental Hygienist is here to help our patients maintain great, healthy smiles with the most comfortable and latest cutting edge techniques in gum and teeth care. Having had a long standing passion for Dentistry, she trained at Sante Fe in Gainesville and graduated in 2005 from their prestigious dental hygiene program. Penny says the most rewarding part of the profession is how she can make such an impact on keeping her patients healthy by her gentle touch, compassion and her amazing skill. Educating patients in the Mouth-Body connection is her highest priority. She continually learns new ideas and treatments from the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental studies about Evolutionary hygiene systems and how biofilm in the mouth (microbacteria and infections) affects one’s systemic health and is proficient in the latest use of microsonics, airflow polishers, piezo, oral DNA, and other technology. She prides herself to give her patients the best and loves being part of a knowledgeable team in creating beautiful, healthy smiles. In addition to LVI, Penny keeps up with continuing education for cosmetic, laser, restorative, and physiological dentistry, Hygiene updates, Practice Management courses and the Florida Dental Association. She is Anesthetic certified, which is a great addition for our patients' comfort.

Having grown up in Ocala since age 7, she loves spending time with her beautiful family, 2 kids and 2 stepdaughters, outdoor life, and staying fit and healthy at the Gym!

Samantha

Receptionist/Concierge

Samantha, our dynamic friendly greeter and receptionist will definitely put a smile on your face! Growing up as a patient of Dr. Chandra’s, inspired by Dentistry, Samantha decided to follow her passion and study Dental Assisting at Central Florida College and a local Assisting program. After she pursued more ambitions in cosmetology, she decided to stay with Chandra Smile Designs. Sam loves being part of such a great team, and helping coordinate our patients’ appointments and financial options. She continually keeps abreast of the latest in practice management, cosmetics, TMD and Dental Sleep Medicine attending Las Vegas Institute and Flordia Dental Association. Samantha loves spending time with her family, attending UF Gator games, the outdoors and great food!

Caitlyn

Dental Assistant

Caitlyn, our kind and sociable Dental Assistant began as an intern at our office and developed a passion for cosmetic and neuromuscular dentistry. With her confident and caring smile, she has the perfect touch for our patients to feel comfortable. She is a certified dental assistant who graduated from the College of Central Florida with continuing education in expanded functions in dentistry. She loves being a part of an amazing team and learning the latest techniques in restorative, cosmetic, TMD, Sleep and Physiologic dentistry. She keeps up her dental education at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, in office trainings, and is very skilled in physiologic technology with the Tens unit, Biopak muscle testing, Teksan bite sensor, Laser technology, orthodontics and Planmeca same day crowns. Her devotion is to help provide our patients with a healthy and beautiful smile.

Outside of the office, Caitlyn loves spending time with her husband and 2 beautiful children. She enjoys being on the soccer field, spending quality time with friends and family, and watching Gator football.
